Property and Casualty Insurance Agent

Job Responsibilities:

  • Quoting and writing new P&C Insurance prospects
  • Establish new relationships with potential clients and sign them up for insurance.
  • Cold calling over the phone and knocking on doors to offer and sell insurance.
  • Networking at the local Chamber mixers and other professional organizations/associations.
  • Respond quickly and  professionally to all prospect inquiries within the agency’s performance guidelines
  • Stay focused on quoting and sales-related activities and delegate all non-relationship activities to Service Team

Professional and Personal Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Articulate and professional voice in person and on the phone.
  • Professional wardrobe.
  • Self-starter, money-driven, and can manage rejection well.
  • Confident, energetic, enthusiastic with a sense of humor. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Familiar with sales software and if you know how to use Infusionsoft is a plus.

Experience and Job Requirements:

  • MUST have at least one year of sales experience in the insurance industry.
  • MUST have a current and valid P&C Insurance License.
  • Bilingual is a PLUS (Russian, Ukraine, Spanish, Lithuanian)

    • Respond quickly and  professionally to all prospect inquiries within the agency’s performance guidelines

    Customer Service Representative

    What you’ll do 

    • Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent on the phone, email, and on paper. 
    • Supporting teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects. 
    • Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically. 
    • Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company… both paper records and on our many different software programs 
    • Assist with other office duties as they arise and are needed 

    Additional Tasks: 

    • Proactively reaching out to clients  
    • Conducting ongoing account reviews   
    • Generating referrals for personal lines and other departments  

    What we’re looking for 

    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator 
    • Type quickly and accurately  
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written 
    • Organized, structured, punctual, and will follow the rules  
    • Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical, and honest 
    • Prior work experience in insurance agency is an advantage  
    • Lithuanian-Speaking is a huge plus!
